Can i be evil in skyrim

I really think I've reached an impasse, here. I kind of had a feeling. Unless, again, I'm missing something? Those little mods don't actually add any gameplay for me. They just small features. Damn, this game is really starting to feel like it's stagnant for evil characters. Hasn't it been a year since it released? Not sure, I kinda gave up on Fallout 4. I was rather unimpressed with the vanilla game.

Maybe I'll go back to it when I find a list of good mods to improve the graphics and other mechanics. As far as evil questlines go in vanilla Skyrim, you're not missing anything else as far as the thieves guild and dark brotherhood are concerned.

I've sunk well over hours in vanilla Skyrim, there's not much else there for me in that particular area. On another note, if you get bored with Skyrim and are looking for mods that add actual challenge and a better storyline, check out a mod by the name of Enderal. It's mostly linear as far as the main storyline goes, but it's a fantastic overhaul mod to the entire game. Highly recommend it.

I was just wondering if I was missing anything else that evil characters can do. Right now, I'm just a vampire lord, but don't really play the part. For me, the entire main quest line is off-limits. Too lovey guvey.

There's not really anything else evil you can do. The only thing I could think of is to download a kill-able NPC mod and go on a killing spree.

I usually react in games how I would react in real life. Basically trying to be nice and make good first impression So I have issues playing a bad character as well. I literally feel bad playing bad character. Anyway, I have not played the thieves guild as well, and I have a few hundred hours in game. Also I never play vampire because the dawnguard have freaking huskies It's a freaking husky in leather armor Well Dragonborn is more about killing a rival than saving the world.

There more "choose your side" quest in that DLC. Someone suggested modding to help better the evil Skyrim experience. First of all, yeah, the Skyrim experience really depends on what order you do things, which is pretty dumb. There is a very set path of which questlines you should do in what order in order for the story and gameplay to feel the most natural and most authentic. To fix this would be to change the entire game and the end result would probably be worse than the open world that Skyrim offers you.

I completely disagree that Oblivion takes the cake on being neutral. Oblivion was a game that immediately set the stage for me to be the good hero. Most big quests have at least two ways they can play out and you always have the option of just being a total dick and killing whoever is in your way.

For example, in the Tribunal expansion…. What will you do? Work for him after slaughtering his assassins he sent after you? Will you kill him in revenge for the widow queen? To begin with, the Dragonborn has the ability to learn necromancy.

This dark magic allows them to bring back anyone or anything they have killed and force them to fight. Dovahkiin has even been known to kill roaming humans when they run out of bodies to use on the road.

It's even been shown that an army of the dead can be used if the player equips the right buffs and items. In order to join the Dark Brotherhood, you first have to kill someone. Afterwards, you will get a letter and then be whisked away in your sleep to a cabin where you are tasked with picking from one of three more people to murder.

It's clear that the Dovahkiin has no trouble killing all three hostages to join the club. In fact, it even seems that it is their destiny to join the Brotherhood due to the relationship with the Night Mother! Once you have taken your reward for saving someone, you can then choose to rob their home or pickpocket them.

In fact, this is one of the ways that many players make most of their money. You can even walk right into a shop, pick up a bucket, and place it over the owner's head to rob them. This sometimes even nets you more money than trying to live an honest life.

Dovahkiin doesn't need to join an organization in order to murder. Many players will kill people that talk to them wrong, or who they think are being unfair to those around them. It's almost guaranteed that you will kill someone during your playthrough and the game makes it easy to get over it.

There is a variety of ways you can murder a whole town and then pay your way out of trouble or not even worry about consequences. Like in real life, the Dragonborn can get married and then realize that they don't quite like the lifestyle. That's fairly normal but instead of going for divorce, you can just slaughter your wife in front of your kids. I guess I COULD say that I'm doing it to gain favor high up with officials, since you know all the evil people are usually high up in courtship and lie to get in good with people so they can have powers pulling strings behind the scenes.

I ended up going to solstheim before the dragonborn quest started if you're wondering lol. I've already figured out how to roleplay both sides of the dawnguard now I just need to pick a side. Vamps are easy to role play being evil. But if I wanted to join the dawnguard I was going to role play that I joined them for the benefit of being able to capture and study vampires for necromantic reasons.

Since Isran himself has a torture room I'm sure he'd appreciate my services and ambitions to want to see what makes a vampire tick : lol. User Info: Zeveria. Pretty much any Daedric quest or Dark Brotherhood quest if you wanna feel evil. Or just basically be a terrorist who kills everything that looks at him the wrong way and make killing the guards a daily ritual as you enter the holds.

It's what I did on my first playthrough because I needed money early on and my bounty ended up being too high to realistically pay off later down the road also I didn't wanna go to jail. Darkest-Lord posted I'm evil not a psychopath lol but I like your ideas xD.

My evilness is like those people who seem like good people in public but evil behind closed doors luring people to my house to perform rituals on them etc.

But just because i'm "good" in person doesn't mean I want to be bothered helping the average joes with crap that means nothing to me lol if that makes sense. User Info: mandalore Most of it already been said but with an evil character the ends do justify the means. Play it out like Emperor Palpatine and subtly move your pieces on the dejarik board until you have conquered Skyrim to thunderous applause.

User Info: danmiy You actually don't need to talk to Jarl Balgruuf to get the Dragonstone. For a long time I'd do the Golden Claw quest first before running to Whiterun. Was completely surprised when I watched a playthrough and Delphine was talking to Farengar. Then your just there at Dragonsreach because your curious about this "cloud" district and Kinda get swept up into things. Which is true enough. Unit7 posted You don't have to talk to him to get the stone but you still have to talk to him to give it to Farengar don't you??

If you don't I'll be damned I always wasted my time with the jarl. I could easily roleplay that if I don't have to talk to the jarl at all. I can say he's the only wizard in the first town I've been to and I need to gain his favor to buy new spells. Honestly, I would think it'd be harder to roleplay as a hero than a villain. Then consider how many times you've killed or stolen from people.

Not to mention that the Aedra seem to ignore you while every Daedric Prince and their brother is trying to recruit you to be their champion.
